Perpetual futures trading is now live within the Solflare wallet, giving users access to leverage trading across over 65 markets. Staying true to its Solana-centric identity, Solflare perps is powered entirely by Phoenix Trade, ensuring that user activity and funds stay onchain within the Solana ecosystem. Simplified perps trading has become a key component in the crypto wallet product stack in 2026, generating around 20% of wallet revenue for platforms like Phantom, Metamask, and TrustWallet. SolFlare Launches In-Wallet Perps Trading Solflare, a popular Solana-native wallet, has launched perpetual futures trading directly within its mobile app and browser extension. Tapping into Phoenix Trade, an emerging Solana perps DEX, Solflare users can trade over 65 markets covering both crypto and RWAs with up to 40x leverage. [https://x.com/solflare/status/2091891524795838869] While in-wallet perps trading is hardly a new phenomenon, Solflare’s integration with Phoenix Trade marks the first time that a Solana-native perps venue has been given the nod over rival chains.  When Phantom first launched perps trading in July 2025, the Solana community mourned the wallet’s decision to build its product atop Hyperliquid, crypto’s biggest perpetual futures trading venue. Now, over one year later, Solflare users can access a Solana-native perps DEX from Solana-native wallet. Arguably, Solflare’s preference to keep its users within the ecosystem reflects a strong commitment to remaining aligned with the best interests of the network. According to Solflare, the wallet will sponsor all gas costs, while charging a platform fee of up to 0.085%. Perps Account for ~20% of Revenue in Top Crypto Wallets Perps trading is rapidly becoming an essential part of the crypto wallet product offering. Since the launch of Hyperliquid builder codes, wallets like Phantom, MetaMask, and TrustWallet have raced to integrate perps trading to bolster their revenues. According to Flowscan.xyz, in-wallet perps products have generated over $98M in total revenue, with leaders like MetaMask and Phantom earning $538k and $454k respectively in the last seven days.  Based on DefiLlama data, perps trading accounts for anywhere between 15-20% of annualized revenue among leading wallet applications. Bulk Teases Mainnet Launch Meanwhile, Solana’s perps race is likely only days away from welcoming one of its most eagerly-awaited competitors. After launching its testnet in March, Bulk Trade CEO and co-founder Kobie McGlashan has hinted that the DEX will be launching on mainnet later this week. [https://x.com/kdotcrypto/status/2091668273788248125] For Solana’s perp traders, Bulk could be one of the chain’s most competitive venues. Designed to run in a dedicated sidecar built directly into Solana’s validator stack, Bulk promises 20ms execution and a risk engine designed to rival CME’s Span, a TradFi standard risk assessment standard. Driven by the desire to acquire ‘Aura’, which may factor into a future Bulk airdrop, pre-mainnet depositors committed over $40M to Bulk Trade’s TVL at its peak, suggesting strong demand for exposure to Solana’s next emerging perps venue.
