The rallying cryptocurrency market has led to an unprecedented demand for $SOL from institutional investors as U.S. spot Solana ETFs recorded $33.49 million in net inflows on August 24, marking their strongest single-day result since December 2025 and extending the inflow streak to 5 trading days. The funds also recorded $166.83 million in daily trading volume, their highest level ever. [https://x.com/SolanaFloor/status/2092160466844070004?s=20] The latest figures push cumulative net inflows into U.S. spot Solana ETFs to roughly $1.22 billion. The 5-session streak has attracted $61.8 million since August 18. $BSOL Drives the Surge With ATH Volume Bitwise's $BSOL accounted for the largest share of Monday's inflows with about $25 million, highlighting the fund's continued dominance even as competition across the sector intensifies. Fidelity's $FSOL added $4.84 million, its strongest inflow since January, while Grayscale's $GSOL recorded about $3.66 million. $BSOL also recorded its largest trading session since launch on Monday, August 24. Teddy Fusaro, President at Bitwise Asset Management, noted that the fund traded more than $108 million during the session, setting the highest single-day trading volume for any Solana ETF. $BSOL has recorded more than $261 million in volume across the past 4 sessions.[https://x.com/teddyfuse/status/2092047538505261526?s=20]$BSOL has maintained its stranglehold despite Morgan Stanley debuting the Morgan Stanley Solana Trust ($MSOL) in July with the lowest expense ratio. $BSOL has enjoyed about 80% of the capital that has entered U.S. spot Solana ETFs so far, with about $950 million in net inflows.Bitwise benefited from a major first-mover advantage after $BSOL became the first pure spot Solana ETF to trade on Wall Street. The listing came during an unusual regulatory period in October, when Bitwise secured approval for its Solana Staking ETF despite the U.S. government shutdown. That early lead continues to matter. $BSOL is no longer the second-cheapest spot Solana ETF, as $MSOL and Franklin Templeton’s $SOEZ both have lower expense ratios, while 21Shares introduced a fee waiver for $TSOL in July. Still, $BSOL continues to attract the bulk of all inflows. Inflows Extend Beyond Solana The latest Solana inflows form part of a broader return of demand for U.S. crypto ETFs. According to SoSoValue data, Spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $337.56 million on Aug. 24, extending their positive streak to 6 sessions, while Ether ETFs added $115.57 million. XRP ETFs also recorded $13.82 million in inflows. The Bitcoin streak matters because the rally above $69,000 partly relied on roughly $3 billion in short liquidations, creating forced buying that cannot repeat once traders close those positions. Six consecutive sessions with more than $2.5 billion in Bitcoin ETF inflows have provided a different source of demand. Total Bitcoin ETF net assets have also risen to $98.56 billion from $78.67 billion a week earlier, alongside bitcoin's move above $80,000. The question now centers on whether flows can continue at elevated levels. Network Activity Validates Demand Solana's ETF demand coincides with elevated activity across the network. Solana has exceeded the weekly spot trading volumes of major centralized exchanges including Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken for 9 consecutive weeks, ranking second only to Binance. [https://x.com/SolanaFloor/status/2092181813510754487?s=20] Solana also processed more than 1 billion transactions for a fourth consecutive week, reaching a new weekly record of 1.31 billion transactions.[https://x.com/SolanaFloor/status/2091863481821831471?s=20]In addition, voting is currently live on 3 major governance proposals aimed at improving Solana’s tokenomics.[https://x.com/SolanaFloor/status/2091589594341073279?s=20]In the words of Solana advocate and popular trader Ansem, “Solana looks good”, probably better than it has looked in a long time.
